MANDO DIAO

Mando Diao is an Indie-Rock-Band from Sweden, which was founded 1999 in Borlänge.

2002 they released their first record Bring 'em in. The single Sheepdog was a big national success.

2004 the second record was released: Hurricane Bar. This was their first success world wide, especially in Germany, Sweden and Japan.

2006 the third record, Ode to Ochrasy,  was released. It was #3 in the german record-charts and their single Long before Rock’n’Roll became very popular.

2007 they released Never seen the Light of Day, the fourth single. The same-titled single was pretty popular. 

2009 Give me Fire ( US release: may 2011 ), the fifth, most successful record of mando diao, was released. Their single Dance with somebody was played in all almost every radiostation and got #1 in the charts. The second single Gloria was very popular, too.

2010 they released an unforgetable, beautiful MTV unplugged. It’s called Above and Beyond and was recorded in Berlin. It’s avaiable as CD, DVD and Blu-ray and was shown many times on TV.
